I’m thinking about creating a course that would focus on learning about climate through drawing. There’s tons of research around how writing information by hand helps with recall and comprehension. My theory is that drawing is even more beneficial (and more fun!).
Hi Nicole, Here's why I think your proposal is so sound....... As a kid in the 1950's discovering cave art, I wondered about the extra dots and stripes that almost always accompanied the images. I felt that they were hidden messages. Over the decades I realized that these very same markings had been created all over the world for more than 100,000 years. Nowadays science is grasping the concept of a truly ancient written language, from which, eventually, cuniform, pictograph and alphabets developed. Every picture, as they say, tells a story, and as I say "deliberately" n'est pas ? Peace, Maurice
such a cool idea!!!!!! 🖼️ 🌎
