Creating a new definition of quiet
I’m working on the introduction for my book, Quietest Places in New York City, and crafting my own definition of quiet.
I was out at a party this weekend and asked strangers this simple question, “What does quiet mean to you?”1 It sparked beautiful conversations and I wanted to open the question up to a larger group.

I somehow only have 4 locations left to paint for the book! I’ve got plenty of writing left to do but I’m already feeling nostalgic for the peak painting frenzy.
