Sustainable Storytelling- Epic Infographics
A weekly showcase of artists communicating about climate change

Climate Art 101 Student Spotlight
Alaina Coppa is a User Experience Designer for Citizens' Climate Lobby and has been creating gorgeous watercolors about climate in my Climate Art 101 course.
During week 4, students learn how to create their own version of my IRA painting. I loved hers so much! One thing we reflected on is that we both use the exact same watercolor kit but have totally different styles of painting. I love seeing folks find their own unique creative expression!
If you liked these, you may like my Climate Art 101 course! I have a full week devoted to climate art case studies and delve into works like these and more. Sign up before September 1 to get 50% off and get lifetime access to the curriculum for $75.
My Art of the Week
I collaborated with Alec Turnbull and Sonam Velani to create this painting for The Great NY Climate Week 2024 Guide! Read all 300+ events they curate here!
Fun fact: Sonam called me at 7pm the night before with this idea and I made this piece in less than 24 hours. It quickly went viral with over 900 likes on LinkedIn. Quite the frenzy but so worth it 😅
Plant of the Week
I want to highlight a plant of the week to identify and feel more connected to plants + trees in my community and around the world.
This week is a Rose of Sharon, more commonly known as a hibiscus. It stopped me in my tracks on my walk home and inspired this section. Submit your favorite plant with its name + an optional story about it to have it featured next week!
