Hi friends,
I am very excited to announce a brand new version of the So You Want to Work in Climate sheet! This is a crowdsourced collection of 500+ resources for people who want to work in climate.
What’s new:
120 climate job boards, 70 newsletters, and 50 climate communities.
Vetted links. I went through and personally reviewed every single link to ensure it’s relevant and secure.
A submission form to make updates more automatic, with a weekly review process.
New section to add your LinkedIn if you’re open to helping others or looking for work.
A “Curated Favorites” section with my personal recommendations for the climate curious.
Filtered views + tags to find what’s most useful to you.
Two years ago, I started this project with a crowdsourced Google Sheet on Twitter. I was working on an art piece and wanted a quick, visual resource I could share with friends who were newly curious about climate or navigating layoffs. Little did I know that the spreadsheet would become a work of art itself.
The sheet grew to over 750 resources, with another 300 waiting in a Google Form for me to manually update. I explored ways to automate it, but nothing quite worked like I envisioned.
When the student consulting group at the University of North Carolina reached out to me and asked if they could help work on it, I was so grateful to get an extra set of hands to rebuild it. They did an incredible job to help bring my vision to life, and I’m so excited to share the brand new version!

Know someone who wants to work in climate or is looking for a new role? Forward them this email or send them the sheet here.
Want to contribute a resource? You can submit a resource or add your LinkedIn.
If you want to volunteer to help maintain the sheet, I could use help going through old entries to add tags & descriptions to them.
If you’re new here, I’m Nicole! I’m a climate artist who uses art as a tool for climate communication. I teach climate art workshops, create custom watercolor infographics, and teach a Climate Art 101 course.
If you want to connect with me or sponsor a Resource of the Week, you can reply to this email or find me on LinkedIn here.
If you’d like to support the maintenance of this resource, you could buy me a coffee here. I personally clicked on every single link to verify it’s secure/relevant and deleted ~250 links. I will be reviewing the submissions once a week to ensure the sheet is vetted and high-quality.
This is wonderful! I would be happy to volunteer to help maintain and tag content!
Thank you for this! I will share it as much as possible!
