I have exciting news- the next cohort of Climate Art 101 starts in September!
I can’t believe it’s been 3 months since I launched Climate Art 101. The art created from this course has been truly inspiring. I started the community I was personally missing in my life. Opening the Slack to see climate art appear is the best part of my day.

The next cohort of Climate Art 101 is launching September 16! It’s a recorded, asynchronous 6-week program. Here are some of the weekly modules: Â
Week 1- Climate Art Case Studies
Week 2- Best Practices for Climate CommunicationsÂ
Week 3- The Joy of Learning through Making ArtÂ
Week 4- Art for Climate AnxietyÂ
I love hearing feedback from the community to continually improve, so there are 2 key curriculum changes I’ll be implementing for this launch:
Bringing more focus to the Creative 30 Challenge. The current structure is 30 minutes of creativity for 30 days. This has been 10 minutes of journaling, 10 minutes of meditation, and 10 minutes of art. Turns out, this isn’t enough time to make meaningful art! So in the next cohort, it will focus on 30 minutes of art for 30 days.
Creating official cohorts. I’ll run 3 cohorts per year of the course. September 16, January 1, and May 1. Having an official launch allowed the community to get to know each other and feel supported.
To learn how to use art as a tool to simplify topics in climate change, you can join us in September for the next cohort! If you register before August 15 you can save 50%. The early-bird pricing is $75. You get lifetime access to the curriculum and Creatives in Climate Slack group.

Note: I imagine looking at this art might be intimidating if you don’t have art experience. I promise you don’t need to have any art experience to participate! You just need to have a curiosity to explore your creativity.
I provide daily climate art prompts to help you build a creative habit and build climate communication skills. We have live Community Calls each month where you can share what you create, get feedback, and set creative goals.
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Thank you so much for making this class, I’ve been trying to incorporate climate into my art for years. I feel like I have so much more inspiration and it’s only day 3!
