If you want to learn how to use your creativity for climate storytelling, I’d love to have you in the summer cohort!
I believe art is a climate solution. It's a powerful tool to communicate, connect with emotions, and inspire climate action. I’ve distilled what I’ve learned from the past 10 years of working in education, climate, communications, and art to craft each lesson with love.
In 6 weeks, you'll learn to make compelling art for climate storytelling. You’ll become a better communicator and make friends with other creatives in climate. This course is a toolkit to tap into your creativity.
So far, two cohorts have gone through Climate Art 101, growing our community to 100 wonderful Creatives in Climate from all over the world. Together, they’ve created over 300 pieces of climate art and I can’t wait to see what this next cohort creates.

What’s Included
Virtual, Self-Paced Course
This six-week program features recorded lessons and hands-on activities designed to help you unlock your most creative self and become a climate communicator through art. During the first month, you’ll explore daily art-making. In the final two weeks, you’ll dive into creating your own Climate Stripes project.
Community of Climate Creatives
You’ll join a private Slack group to share your art, collaborate with other creatives, and find inspiration. This community has become my happy place and I finally feel like I’ve found my people.
Creativity Meditations + Climate Art Workshops
You’ll get access to five recorded creativity meditations plus ten recorded workshops on topics like Clean Energy, Solarpunk, and Electrifying Your Home.
Download a free copy of the “Visualize Your Future Creative Self” meditation here.
Monthly Live Community Calls
Each month, I host live calls for “Show and Tell.” These are a space to share what you’ve created, receive feedback, and support one another. These calls always leave me excited and inspired to make more art!
By the End of the Course
You’ll have created 30 pieces of solutions-oriented climate art and gained confidence in using art as a tool for storytelling and advocacy. The art prompts, assignments, and meditations will teach you how to create art that envisions a brighter future.
If you want to learn more or have any questions, feel free to message me! You can register for the course here. You don’t need to be an artist to take this course, you just need to be curious and want to explore your creativity.
Note: I want this class to be accessible to all. If finances are a challenge, just reply to this email.
I have reached millions of people with my art. My goal is to build a community of climate artists who will reach millions more.
Upcoming Events
To celebrate Earth Month, I’m hosting a free, online climate workshop to make mini-zines about your favorite place in nature. You’ll learn how to turn your ideas into art and leave with your own little book.
If you don’t know what a mini-zine is, it’s a way of folding a single page of paper into 6 tiny pages. They are one of my favorite (and cutest) forms of art. April 24th at 1pm EST. Info here.
I just signed up, I am really looking forward to it. Such a delicious combo of my climate interest and my exploration of making art (the first one a lot of friends will be aware of, the latter is a bit of a secret).
