We’re rocking the bullets today friends! Get ready for some listicle action.

  • I went up to Harvard to teach a climate art workshop for their youth summit on climate, equity, and health! I met so many passionate high school students and got to spend time with the other incredible speakers from all over the world.

  • I moved to Park Slope this week! Not gonna lie, it was one of the most stressful weeks I’ve had in ages.

  • My wrist is healing really well! I finally started swimming again and it feels SO good.

  • When I was in Boston I toured Greentown Labs and got to see my art IRL! Here’s me posing in front of the safety signage I designed for their lab.

Come on Barbie, let’s go to the lab!
  • I’m finalizing the title for my coloring book. The working title is Electrify Everything: The Clean Energy Coloring Book. Let me know if you like that! I’m open to other ideas too. The waitlist is here.

  • I made one of my new favorite paintings! I’m a ✨microgrid ✨

Creative recommendations

This is a new section I want to start! Lmk if you like it and I’ll keep doing it 😃

  • I watched a documentary called Funny Business about the history of New Yorker cartoons. It was a great reminder I don’t have to get “better” at drawing people, I just need to figure out HOW I want to make my people look.

  • I’m reading Your Brain on Art. It’s about the science of why art is so good for our mental health.

  • I’ve been using CourseHorse to research local art classes. Now that I’m settled I’m going to start going to more IRL ones.

  • I use SkillShare to take online art classes and took this one on Color Theory for Beginners.

Ways to support me:

  • Buy yourself something from my shop- my book, a t-shirt, a mug, a print, a onesie. Whatever your little heart may desire

I’m a big fan mug here
  • I’m open for contract work or commissions. I help climate organizations simplify their messaging into pretty art!

That’s all the bullets for today folks. Hope you’re having a great summer, can’t believe we’re already in AUGUST!

I really love and admire what you're doing, Nicole! Keep up the good work. I will definitely be sharing your "What climate solution are you?" graphic :-)
