Highlights from my Coloring Book Launch Party! 🎉
My book launch party was this week! It was truly a blast. Seeing my friends color the pages from my book was such a magical feeling. I’m now in the post-event planning calm which is always a wonderful feeling as well.
A picture is worth a thousand words, so here are a few!
Some special moments:
- Watching people color inside and outside the lines. I love seeing all the texture and fun accents people add to make each page their own.

- Creating a collaborative coloring experience. I blew up a few of the pages into jumbo prints and people were able to color them in. I feel like I’m on to something there- it makes me want to do more of these events!
Look at these masterpieces they created!
- The before/after of the event. Seeing the blank pages from set up to the colorful beauties after is too cool!
I have more photos coming in soon but wanted to give a sneak peek here.

Creative recommendations
- Wendy MacNaughton is one of my favorite artists and she’s designed an interactive art experiment called DrawTogether Strangers. This activity is for 2 strangers on the street to draw each other for 1 minute. It evokes connection and is a beautiful idea. She even has a toolkit for anyone to host one here.
- This 10 minute short film called “Normal Sucks” about neurodiversity and creativity is lovely. Watch here
